Every year on the day after Christmas I go out for about an hour or so...I buy Waterford ornaments for my whole family so...the day after Christmas, I am DONE for the next year! I have not participated in the holiday nuts time for about twenty years...and I like it that way! (Plus that, the ornaments are 50% off too!)

My wife and I are planning a "post-Christmas shop-hop" to the LQSs on Wednesday. We both have projects we're buying for.

I'm bad for remembering where I leave my keys to my car...I'm sure I'd never find a present 12 months later...lol. I usually avoid the stores at all costs.

I ended up spending half the day with my family (unexpected) and the rest of it shopping for my son's computer. We lucked out at the fifth place we tried. He went over budget slightly but got a much better computer than we thought he'd get. Anyway, I also picked up a little toy but didn't get any "After-Christmas bargains".

Well I did it! I got 9 presents for next year! I am doing the happy dance, supposely I saved over $184 dollars. No way could I pay that on top of what I spent today. Glad I went today, I buzzed in and out so quickly, it was great! It helped that I knew exactly what I was going after.

Although, I am not shopping any other big sales right now including fabric stores, holding on to my quilting money til I truly need something for quilting/sewing.

I went to Wm around 11am today...it was busy, but not crazy and get this...there were NO return lines..none...a few people were exchanging items at customer service but that was it!
I wonder if their NEW return policy had something to do with that. Did you know you are only allowed 3 returns without a receipt in a year??? and items more than 60 days old in their system are not often recognized? Same at Lowe's now. You can only return 3 times with no receipt before their system locks you out and you can not return anything EVER without a receipt....sorta makes it hard to buy for people that way. Guess they make more money on gift cards that folks lose or forget to use! Sad...

I just had a spree on the fatquarter site. Some terrific bargains. Last year I got into a lot of trouble building my stash. This year sanity, so far, is keeping me from doing bad things. But I ask you in all honesty, how can buying fabric be a bad thing?
