I'm glad you did, I think they were open as to when you put the blocks together there will be more color than all white corners? I took them all apart and back together and made 7 more blocks all ready this morning. Now off to get some housework done. ( I'd really rather be sewing)

I thought the same thing. I like them closed as well.

Would be great for a quick need project/gift. Jenny is so great with her tutes. I usually run through her videos a couple times then go back over and stop to take notes on some of the tutes using the bar at the bottom of the video. I'm more of a visual person. Such a simple and cute quilt. Yours looks great.

I think I like the closed envelope idea better, also. Although, now I probably have 2 quilts on my to-do list with one open and one closed.

I saw the quilt on you-tube and I like your version. If I were to make their version I would write some little thing in each white area on the inside of the envelope so it would make more sense to the viewer of the quilt. It would make a wonderful scripture quilt with the envelopes open. HUMMMM....sounds like that might me a project in my future. Thanks for sharing your version.

I like this much better as 'closed' envelopes -- but how about if you moved it to on point? Love this - now I'm going to have to make one myself. Didn't care for MSQC's version, it looked strange to me. This one, I love!
