I have just started to think about ruler work. I would like to take a class before I spend a lot of money and decide it isn't for me. I have talked with a sewing machine shop here in town and they will be offering a class soon. I have I can do as well as you did on a first (or second or third) try,

You are doing a fantastic job Nan...looks like you’ve got the hang of it and, more importantly, are enjoying it.

Your ruler work looks great. I have been debating about it. I watch the demos at shows but haven't bitten yet. I have the 2010q also. Looks like it was enough room. Thanks for showing us your work.

You are doing very well. I took a class and they gave us printed piece to work on, but also a book detailing which ruler to use and where to use it. Loved the class.

I remember when I started ruler work. It was fun but never turned out quite right. After three or more years of practice I find that it is great and you will really enjoy using those many rulers you purchased. At this point, every once in while I decide I need another ruler and get so excited to try one more. Just remember it is like FMQ, practice, practice and more practice. Love doing quilt now.
