As I have said I have a studio not the GO! but as to fabric waste-
I don't buy the square or strip dies- I can use my rotary cutter for those-and there is waste. But for triangles I LOVE my cutter! the one I use the most is for 3" finished HST( with the corners docked)- for a 24 block quilt I cut 20 4" strips of 2 fabrics then run them thru the studio.
In 30 minutes max- from making fabric choices to all cut and ready to sew.
and yes I am wasting about 1/2" per strip or 20" for the quilt- which does add up
I love the dies for scrap quilts I have the mix and match sets and have a pizza box labeled for each die shape. I cut all my scraps into shapes and put them in the boxes, ready to sew! Really uses up all that fabric we hate to throw away!
My next die purchase will be for the wedding ring- something I would never cut by hand!

I love mine!! I use it a lot for cutting squares from scraps. I did find out it is not for cutting squares from jeans.

Oh I had to open mine the minute it was in the house. I had gotten the rag die with it and went and started cutting immediately! You will love it!

I am so jealous, you will have so much fun with it and their are so many quilts you can make, but the best part is getting all those scraps organized and ready to sew! :hunf:

Oh... I do hope you enjoy your new toy!

It's still not available in the UK... there are two stores that are advertising it, but there is a 28 day wait for delivery.

I am not thinking of buying the sizzix pro. It has a slightly larger cutting area than the Accuquilt Go and Westminster Fibres have worked with sizzix and createed a range of fabric cutting dies..!!!!!!

Don't know what to do now!

    Hugs
