That smile is so worth those prescioud wavy seams and mismatched points! I just love how she and you did this together what a memory for her and you!

You are doing so much to make her feel confident and great about herself. I remember sewing with my mom and it was one of the times I could have her attention. We still enjoy sewing together and I'm retired now. Tell her "Great Job!!"

that is, in big part, why i wanted to do this with her. with a military husband who is gone half the time, and a 5 month old baby, time with just her is in short supply. another reason, of course, is because she *wanted* to...I wouldn't have made her do it if she wasn't interested.

Looks like you've got a ham on your hands. lol, my youngest son is like that. She is so precious.

Her quilt is wonderful, a great job for her first quilt, and only 5 years old, it's a masterpiece.
