I saw a picture of a quilt with a similar design in a book several years ago and I changed it a little. The patters are very traditional, often used in Welsh Wholecloths. And because the main patterns like the central medaillon is of a graphic style I could combine the "teacup"- background with it.

OMG, Amber is beautiful. I will never have the patience to do something like that. I might get a very small wall hanging hand quilted someday or a table runner. I do want to try hand quilting though. Seems like it would be so relaxing.

I love seeing your quilts. You do the most BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, PERFECT hand quilting I have ever seen. Every time I see one of your quilts I wish I could touch it.
