My third quilt ever. I'll not have anyone looking at my FMQ with a critical eye (go away Quilt Police!! lol - not that I'm expecting any here on this lovely board). But I'm having fun with the fmq, and am so glad I finally got the courage to just do it and finish some stuff.

I'm loving this quilt, it moves around the house with me lol. I have a wonderful duvet I wouldn't part with for the world, but at the moment this quilt goes on top of my bed at night... I'm like a kid with a new toy!!

Oh gosh...another for my bucket list and to bookmark. I've seen many OBWs on this site and in my LQS but I just couldn't get crazy about them...until this one. Would love to see a little more of a close up of the first pic. I'm not sure why I like this more than the others but I think it's great! And your colors and design...front and back...just make it lovely!!! If you ever get tired of this quilt I'll gladly take care of it for a while! ;-)

OBW's are so much fun and a "wonder"ful surprise when they are finished. Yours is beautiful and the colors are fabulous.

Love it love it love it! Gorgeous colours - it just dances :)

    Love the pieced back too!

Do you happen to still have a piece of the original fabric that you used for the OBW? I find it so interesting to compare - helps us figure out good candidates for this method.

    Awesome work
