Man I missed out on this! I was so engrossed in the boom swap that I didn't allow myself to investigate others that were happening at the same time. I hope you decide to run this swap again, I would like to join! Beautiful blocks are abundant in this thread! Great work everyone and I look forward to what everyone does with their blocks.

Not to worry, Maude... This one finishes on the 30th and I will open sign ups for the next one around the 15th of May... or maybe sooner. We are going to repeat this same swap, with color 9 Patches made checkerboard style. Some want to make bigger quilts or more quilts, so we need more of the same type blocks. You can hop on board then!

So, I was really proud of myself. This swap used up about 7 yards of fabric from my stash. But... I just got home from my favorite thrift store with another 15+ yards of quilting scraps for $25! Some of it is proper scraps, some yardage and even a huge curtain set made with WOW quilting cotton! Even the ladies who volunteer there were surprised. I told them I don't sew as fast as I buy, but I'm saving fabric for a quilting recession!

Yeah, you never know what the future may bring. Better to have that stuff safe and sound at your house.

    D. Henson, love the scrappy 9P baby quilt, and the big stitch quilting on it.
