    Glad it wasn't coyotes!
We had chickens for a few years, but the boy was young and he left the yard open one night. Went out the next morning, and most of the flock was scattered from here to wherever. The most sad part was Weazy ... the boy's rooster. He had put up quite a battle and the boy found him out in the south pasture. Here he comes, carrying his rooster which was almost as big as him ... we have a little cemetery in the corner of the front yard ... the rooster, his first cat, our first Lawless abandoned kitten .... (he grew up to be a HUGE cat, very athletic ... very entertaining ... ) ... maybe next year we will landscape the area, since each grave is marked with a VERY large rock. But, the hardest one was that rooster because the boy knew whose fault it was that the coyotes got him ... big burden for a little boy.

I am glad you like Elle's center ... and, don't be intimidated ... I am thinking that a round robin is a little bit of the owner, and a little bit of each person who makes the rounds.
When I did the flying geese units, I had considered that the flowers needed something more angular/structured than organic, and when I took it to a quilt shop, the lady who helped me said the same thing IMMEDIATELY! So, I was pretty sure we were on to something.
Having the same batik in a different color family sounds very intriguing!
And, I am glad to know that you are reasonably new to quilting because I have some other things <g>.

Just checking in to see if all have their centers. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but with the mail and Christmas, not worrying yet :-)

    I've got Colletta's (wave)

Also, Omak, don't worry about what shade of blue - there are at least 30 in my centre, plus what Elle put on, I am sure it will end up looking like a giant Delft plate when it gets back here.
