Billi I love your idea on framing the blocks, I have been wondering about putting them on foam board but like your idea better

Billi, I would go with the Piec-lique technique for the curves on your double wedding ring. Here's a link for a great tutorial. (It's for Drunkard's Path, but it should work fine with your DWR.)

http://www.sewmuchlikemom.com/2014/0...iec-lique.html

I used the technique for a drunkards path I did and it was awesome--all by by machine, no pinning, no matching to worry about, no bias edges to fuss with.

Thanks for the link JJ

Since I am working with a precut kit this is really not feasible but I like the idea of it.

Between Kass's pinning technique and notches already cut into some of the pieces it not a bad as I thought it would be but I'm quite slow at it hopefully that will get better.

Terri I'm really glad I still had theses blocks from 13. Like I said I may still put them in my quilt when I get to it I know she would be pleased that they are being used not withering away in a box. I got the frames from Michaels it was about 10 bucks when I used my coupons. I'm not thrilled with black but it's all they had in that odd size. I may buy soe spray paint and fix that.

Y'll have a good weekend and a safe 4th of July. I'm looking forward to checking on the boom threads ad seeing how everyone is doing.

Hello everyone!! I so wanted to sign up for the Boom! But with my back issues and aquatic therapy and, and, etc. lol. Best to sit this one out. Loving the fabric pics and sorry I'm going to miss out, But I will be lurking .
So sorry to hear about seasaw, I didn't know her but have read wonderful things about her.

To all the newbies, Boom 18 was my first and it was a wonderful experience. You will not find a better group of kind, helpful, generous all around fantastic bunch anywhere. Do not be hesitant about asking anything, they are a wealth of information and inspiration. I've been sewing for 40 years and well, thought I kinda knew some stuff, ha, These ladies are at the top of the A list. Have fun everyone, Can't wait to see all the fabric everyone has chosen and the beautiful blocks. hugs
