Anyone ever use this site to make a pattern?

I have done 2 cross stitch style wall quilts. Bigger squares would make bigger quilts! I didn`t use a foundation, though, as the site suggested. Just pieced the squares using a cross stitch pattern as my guide.

That is one FUN site to look through.
I've been fascinated for years by those pictures made up of smaller picture squares; this is kind of similar. Maybe more like a colour wash. Another one on the wish list!

Could you please show us the original picture ... and then the quilt?
I didn't use a pattern maker, just put a grid on a photocopy of the photo, and went blindly at this project ...........

A large quilt in shades of tan and beige was shown here from a quilt show of some sort and I wondered how it had been done. Thanks for the site and an answer. I'd never seen one done before that one. They are really amazing.
