    I used batiks in my avatar. It is turquoise, rust and black. I love theat color combo.

    For batiks, I would like to try something in gold, red and black......not my ordinary shades but I think that it might make for an interesting batik hanging

    I like bright color. So I would probably use purple, teal (or aqua) and pink (or orange)

    Black and red (white?) makes a striking quilt. I love reds and greens together.
    Think about the room you will display the quilt in, what colors would fit into this room.
