My thoughts too!

Recurver, you did a wonderful job. I also work in a school system. I am not a teacher, but the bookkeeper. I would also like a cover for my laptop! Look forward to the tutorial!

What a fantastic idea - I've been thinking about making one for my DDIL who is a web site designer. I'll have to come up with something very special for her. Great job.

I am thinking it is attached with thin ribbons at four corners so cover will still close? Or elastic or would that be too thick to close?

No it isn't attached like that way. I made a wide binding like the Eleanor Burns always does. In stead of turning the binding to the back side I let it lose. Then I made a little hole on the right down side. In the hole I put a small robe/threat/wire en put it around like you do with elastic in a trouser. When you are completely around you hold the wires. Then put the cover around your laptopscreen. Pull the wires tight. Then make a little knot. You see that the binding will fold around your screen. That's it! But I will make a tutorial.
