    Default Texas going away gift

My daughters friend is going to Brazil for two years. She asked me to make him a "Texas" quilt like the one I made her sister and brother when they left the state. It's only bandanas cut and re-assembled. Easy peasy. I usually use real Texas flags but I only had a couple of days to make it and Walmart didn't have Texas flags for some reason lol. I made my own with bandana scraps. It's also my first time doing FM loops. Don't look too closely at them.... I used a black binding and have to brag, I think it was perfect! Daughter loves her gift. He will receive it Sunday I think, and have a nice reminder of his home. Texas.

    Thanks for looking!

I am married to Texan and they are proud of their state. Your quilt is original and looks great. Hugs
