Thanks for the feedback; I'm still not sure which way I'll go. I should say that the other colors in this mockup are not exactly what I plan to use. I may have to go thru the effort of scanning my fabrics into EQ7 to get a better feel for it (although I love EQ7, scanning in fabrics is NOT my favorite thing to do!)

I like the yellow and I like it all over. However, if you don't want as much yellow, you could use something else in most places, and then add yellow here and there. Do it sort of randomly.

You should always add a sparkle to any quilt. Yellow does it for certain.

The more I think about it, the more I like my idea! ;-D.

Do pink/lavendar, then blue/green. Add about 3-4 yellows, replacing any of the colors. Do it randomly. Leave the center white.

Or do pink/lavendar, blue/green and yellow centers....maybe make a few of the centers white.

Mock those up for me, would you please ;-).

Yes, I had the windows version before; so far, I don't see any differences. It didn't take long at all to learn enough to do standard types of quilt designs. There are a lot of features I haven't played with yet; some of them will take some studying. All-in-all I think it is a great tool and worth the money. As you said, it is great to be able to compare designs with slight changes, to see what you like best.

The Yellow looks very nice, as some others have said the gold does not work. Just my opinion but do as you like,

To me the gold color counts as yellow. Maybe put yellow where the gold is.

My favorite color is yellow also but I do not care for the orange/gold with the yellow. My opinion only. Love the quilt though.

I like the yellow a lot, but not real fond of the golg/orange' I would use a pastel, maybe lavender.

my friend always said " every quilt needs a little Cheese"... I would leave out the gold, change to other color and then use the yellow centers. Love the pattern.
