    In my opinion..I think it needs a border to pull all the colors together ..the border will make a show case for all the colors..the eye will travel the blocks better with the border..u could pick any color..myself..I would use the white ..like the color in the quilt..cool quilt..love scrappy quilts..

    I love your scrappy quilt they are so much fun. GSBUFFALO posted her picture with a border and that is just what I was thinking except maybe use white for the narrow border and then the strip border. What ever you choose to do your quilt is wonderful, enjoy it.

    I would put at least a small boarder, because there are some thick parts on those blocks and putting a binding on those parts is a lot for a sewing machine to sew through (over).

    Haven't read all the posts but I almost never put borders on my quilts. And it's not just a new/modern look. My mother and grandmother didn't do borders and all their quilts were from clothing scraps. My mother would have been 104 now and my grandmother died in 1954 at 70.
