Another gorgeous scrappy.

If you are going to put a border on - not that it needs it - I would suggest using a plain fabric so that it does not look "busy".

Love the way it came out.. I just finished six of them for the family, and I love all of them.. I am creating more scraps to do some more.. It is very relaxing, and I can work on them when I get home from work..

Its very pretty I would add a boarder of course I do that all the time just to add length.

I also agree that it doesn't need a border... a nice bright binding (red or yellow) would frame it up nicely.

Very pretty. I love string quilts and have made several. A backing is not always necessary. I have made them as QAYG. Scrappies are like free quilts to me also. Matching seams are always done as usual.

Our Guild's comfort quilt (charity quilt) coordinator did this pattern for our last sewing Bee. She did it rag quilt style and instead of binding we also cut nips around the perimeter. It turned out to be a really cute and quick way to finish these comfort quilts.
