Sounds like I need to come up your way and shop!! I am a little more than an hour south of Iowa City.

Welcome Mike from Salem Iowa. I have a son and his family that moved to Mount Vernon last fall. My DIL works there and my son is an electrician.

Looking forward to seeing what you make!!

Hi from Indiana, Mike! Welcome aboard :D You will like it here. We don't bite (unless you put chocolate in front of us) :D...then watch your fingers. Anything you need to know just ask, believe me someone on here knows the answer or where to find it. Very helpful and friendly people here.

Welcome from Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula! It's nice to have someone from "Grant Wood Country" on this board. You are doing a great job :-)

Mike, Welcome from NE Alabama. I saw you have an AccuQuiltGo. How easy or hard was it to first learn & how fast can you cut out pieces of fabric? Glad you're here with us.

Warm welcome wishes from another Iowan :D Glad that you found us :D

I'm not far from CR. sort of in the middle of nowhere...lol. I too have been to Pine Needles....The Cottage Rose and Connies. I am looking forward to seeing your creations in the quilt shows at Hawkeye Downs maybe? (I'm only about 40 min SE of CR.) Please try to post pics of your work as we all love to oooh and aaaahhhh and drool over all the pretty fabrics and labors of love here.
