Finally getting an opportunity to post NanaKathy's block. I hope it suits you NK. I certainly enjoyed making it. I don't know the block name but it's one of my favorites.

Jaba, your block is next up for me. Your note says dark brown only but am wondering if I can use a fairly subtle print, I have several that would work nicely or are you looking only at solids? I'd appreciate a little more direction. Thanks!

Billi template is a smidge over 6 1/8 square, between 6 1/8 and 6 1/4.
i have not been able to shake the heavy feelings about my mom's health. Throwing clothes in suitcase and heading back up North. Won't be sewing but if she is deteriorating as fast as my sister and I feel I will go home take care of matters here and kit up all the blocks for the three month group. Grab my traveling sewing machine and head back up. Lots going on in our family right now. Feel I'm going 100 mph one way then have to slam on brakes and head to another critical issue. Several options have opened up concerning my granddaughter, options that we have prayed for for years. Thankully dd is fine with me being a phone call away but it is all getting to be a bit overwhelming for me.
