Thought it was a pretty good first show. Should be an interesting season.

I watched it last night. I was pulling for Wendy, Hines and Kirstie. Poor Wendy hope she puts on a good show next week. And Kirstie, wow, she did great.

Asked hubby, how old is Hines? He said he thought he was about 34, told him I thought he looked older especially on the tv last night. He looks so much younger to me when he's on the field, flashing that bright smile of his.

Then it dawned on me ... he is old enough to be my son, LOL I have a 36 yr old daughter. Hubby looked at me blankly for a moment and it hit him ... OMG. He never thought of those football players as being the age of our own kids.

We tivoed it and watched it tonight. I was just blown away by the Karate Kid ( really 27 years ago -- really) and Kirstie Alley. Didn't know they had it in them. I also didn't realize Kirstie is in her 60's. And the Karate Kid is 49. (Really 27 years ago????)

Kirstie is 60. Even as good as she looks I think she would be dismayed if people thought she was 'in her 60s', LOL.

She was born in January 1951 and is 2 months older than I am. I've been keeping track of her for years now after I learned we were so close in age.

Whoooo...hoooo! I love DWTS. Always watch it. So glad Kristy Alley did so well. I am rooting for her. I am a Pittsburgh fan too but wish it was Troy Polamalu dancing. He is my favorite. I was born in PA but live in Florida. I also love watching Idol. I just love Scotty and James!!

Yes seeing Troy would be awesome ... maybe next year! We'll have to write in and make the suggestion ... hint hint.

Hubby is from PA and when we got married I was not into football but in short time I was rooting for Terry Bradshaw and the rest, now for 40 years. All our daughters are huge fans, wearing Steelers Jerseys when the team plays. HUGE fans here in CA
