Cutting space?
#42
I used a rolling serving cart from Lowe's, and my huband took PVC pipe to go into the uprights & attached pvc to a plywood top for mu Quilt Cut-2. Perfect height & I can easily move it to a new location since it is on wheels. PM me & I'll send some pix, if interested.

Whenever I have used the bed, I find that it's not good. It is not solid enough, there is too much give and makes it difficult to cut correctly. Marge L.

O.K. Don't laugh. My husband went to the post office and got some boxes (you don't have to pay for them until you mail them, which we won't); put them together, and put them on top of my dining room table, with a cutting board on top of them. Worked perfect for me. I think there must be different size boxes. You can then take them apart when you're done until the next time.

We recently retired and are spending most of the year at our cottage in Michigan. The upstairs is all one open room, that will become my sewing room/guest room. It is big!! I was going to buy a large old table and use the pvc pipes or buy bed risers to put on the legs. But my husband stopped at the local Big Lots store and came home to tell me that there was a perfect cutting table there. My friend and I went up to take a look. It is awesome. It is a really large, square, bistro table - just the perfect height for cutting, pinning, basting etc. It was $100.00, and my friend had a 20% off coupon, so I now possess the best cutting table I've ever seen. Love it, and will now always look at Big Lots for things that I might need.
