back in calif. a friend and i did variety of crafts we would also teach some of them to her church retreat and would have get together at my house for the girls we worked with. i loved seeing the women come in and be saying i can't do that and those that hadn't crafted before being nerveous. by the time they left they all had smiles on there faces and were so proud of what they did. that was really rewarding and made us feel like we did something good.
i also crosstitch, and trying to learn embroidery this summer but finding that i prefer redwork instead, that way i don't have to worry about color. with my eyes now i almost had blue grass instead of green dh caught it for me.so i can't be trusted alone with color i guess. lol
guess like alot of others here i like variety

forgot to ask--- i wanted to know what your flowers are made of. your other projects are very pretty and well done.i envy you being able to crochet never could get the hang of it much and knitting was an awful torture for me. i love to buy it though at the cradt fairs.

Of course I do other things. I cross-stitch/embroidery, crochet and I used to oil paint(haven't done that for a long time). Jack of all trades, master of none...yep, that's me.

I decorate cakes, do some cross stitch, tiedye shirts, and experiment with a lot of other stuff....batik, stained glass, and I've tried to learn both crocheting and knitting. Both are too tedious and repetitive for me!

Sometimes I look at something I created and I'm in awe that I actually did that. As in a Christening gown that I crocheted or a painting that I did. Sometimes I actually amaze myself.

I currently also do weaving. I can do some basic knitting and crocheting but quilting has taken over. I do like to make soap but even that has gone on the back burner. Another thing I like is to make soft Waldorf style dolls. I like stuffing them with wool, I cleaned. Many of my children are from unique ethnic and racial back grounds and I found it hard to find dolls for them. That is how I got into making them myself.
