We are getting an Aldi store
#42
A big thanks to all who answered. I am looking forward to our new store. I am glad to know about the quarters for carts and shopping bags. I do love to shop for groceries as much as material. I was in a very money poor but lots of love family growing us so being able to buy a few extra groceries seems somewhat of a special treat to me. Crazy I know but that is me.

Aldi's is good for some things, but you need to watch prices. Many of their items are higher than other stores. Their fresh produce is usually very good, but sometimes in larger quantities than I would want to buy. No one can touch their bread prices here.

Our Aldi stores are good. They re-brand a lot of the same products that we can buy in the regular supermarkets and sell them at a cheaper price.
I like the nick-nacks that they come up with from time to time, such as a torch that doesn't need batteries. I bought one to keep in my car as it only cost $3.

Love Aldi. Their produce is better than Wal-marts and more resonable. I love their selection of German food at Christmas time. I really miss that since we were in Germany for 11 years with the military.

We shop at Aldi every week - multi-grain bread, milk, eggs, honey, corn oil, all kinds of nuts, cheese, apples, oatmeal, tortilla chips, lunch meat - turkey and ham, and we like the fresh pizza which is too big to fit in the fridge so we go straight home and make it!
