    The triangle pieces are paper pieced so the seams are to one side. When I stitch the triangles together I'm ironing the seams open-just because. The strips, in the last step, I'm just ironing to one side. Seems to be working, so far!

    I goofed and shared this pattern, along with a few others, for Shawn to pick from. I've been wanting to try out this pattern and Shawn picked it. Wouldn't you know?!! It is for his eleventh birthday, his "big boy" quilt. He asked his mom, " Can Grandma really make that?" now I have to prove that I can indeed make it.
