You are so sweet to do that, and you are SO talented. The children will be so pleased to get those.

What are the approximate sizes of them?
Bearisgrey I make them approximately 50 x 60 inches which I think is a good size.

Dublb I made these this year in between the Pony Club Blocks and other quilts I made. My DS calls my sewing room the factory floor

You are so sweet. I know that the kids will love these. My daughter was diagnosed with Crohns over a year ago. The one time she was in the hospital for over 2 weeks. She got a pillowcase(from the pillowcase challenge) and she loves it. They have people that donate crocheted throws and small quilts too. She keeps them all on her bed at all times. Now, she we can make her anything she wants and she prefers these to everything else. I think it's a wonderful program. I donated a bunch of pillowcases before and I have a few quilts started to donate also. They even gave small quilts to my other kids(which they did not have to do at all) and they sleep with them over their pillows every night. Even something small means so much to a child. After seeing what my daughter and other kids were going through...I see why they like them so much. It lights their day to get a gift like that when they are feeling so down or in so much pain. I stand up and applaud what you are doing.
