What batting should I use to make tablerunners and table toppers lay flat?

Warm n Natural is my batt of choice. The scrim helps to keep it all flat. Wondering if it was taken out of the dryer right away. I take mine out when finished, give them a pat or two to smooth and they are good to go.

Pre wash everything..polyester no..but all coton fabric, batting, etc. seems to shrink. I just washed a mat top left from a group I made awhile ago, because when I made them I didn't prewash all of the fq's and the batting and they didn't look as nice after they were washed. warm and Natural shrinks and most precuts do also. so I have not used them and they do cost more than yardage when you figure it up. some flannels shrink a lot. love the suggestions made here on the board that solve so many problems. Thanks to all of you!
Now if I could just get them all read and still get sewing and chores done too.
