    I like the wider one also. You might like it if it hanges better on the sides of the bed.

    Great job on a great quilt. I am sure every time you cover up with it you will feel his warmth. Good way to work through grief.

    What a wonderful and healing project. I don't think you can go wrong with either boarder. Where will the quilt go? On a bed or as a throw? If it is going on a bed, the finished size might help to make your decision.

    I'm glad you made the quilt as a memory quilt. So sorry for your loss. I too, experienced that loss and made my children and grands a quilt similar to yours and the kids fell in love with them. I now have plans to make a sun bonnet sue and sam using up some of the smaller pieces for myself. As a matter of fact, that was my first attempt at quilting. Now I am still quilting and addicted.
