Slight repost, here's a pic of tools used in cutting and measuring threads on fasteners.

If you have the die for the threads you want to cut, you could buy a kit from Brownell's gun smith supply and make your own screws, scroll down on this link for the kit and refills for flat head screws,
https://www.brownells.com/UserDocs/M...itsSection.pdf
Now I won't go into the different kinds of flathead screws there are, but let's just say, they can have different depth of head for thinner materials. And some have "undercut" heads.

Inline Rheostat/Dimmer Completed
My intentions were to use the original foot control receptacle box, but since I came up with a salvaged fourplex which is more to my liking. The foot lever spring is removed and friction on the lever increased to help hold in a set position of varying resistance. The control/power feed box is finished and functional. Haven't used it with an electronic foot control yet. Anyone have an idea on if it will work with an electronic control or will it blow it?

The first picture is how I thought it would end up. The second picture is the finished product.
