this is beautiful, & from the looks of your photo posted here, beautifully done! i have followed another quilter on another board. she finally finished her lbb, now following your journey. have visited each block you've posted. this is going to be such a beautiful quilt! i confess to have never heard of this beautiful pattern before reading of a search for the pattern somewhere (i love quilty boards, read & follow a few). i love to do needle turn applique, my efforts are few, as time is limited for my needle pursuits. but, i think i would like to start this pattern. to finish isn't the goal, just to delight in the making of some blocks would be satisfaction enough. i am sure somwhere, someone in future would be happy to "rescue" & finish.

I can applique small simple shapes, very simple. I feel so much accomplishment with each finish.
