My 6th LBB (Little Brown Bird) block is done
This block (actually block #7 in the book) is my 6th finish. The Little Brown Bird quilt is a book by Margaret Docherty. It's out of print but you can still find it on eBay.
I used some inktense pencils to shade the yellow flower a little on this one. I was afraid it wouldn't show up being that it was kinda close in color to the background. This one had maybe 1/2 the little pieces in it but it was still a challenge. I've not had a lot of stitching time lately but I'm hoping I can keep up with my schedule of getting at least 2 blocks done a month. The holiday season coming up may slow me down some but I am still excited to work on it. At least I haven't gotten to the middle of the project doldrums yet.
If you want to see the other blocks that I've finished just click on my name above my picture, select view profile and scroll to the bottom of the page. On the left you'll find my albums..... LBB is where you'll find the others.
And, I invite you to join me in this journey. I hope there will be others working on this quilt. I like chatting back and forth about it.

Gorgeous and good call on using the ink tense on the yellow flower because I can see the lighter portion does really blend in with your background block. What a spectacular masterpiece this will be when you complete it. Thank you for including us in on your journey.
