Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I decided, after reading that most of you would not let the fabric go to waste, that I would take my rotary to it and cut a little bit more just to see if it is worth messing with or not. And after only cutting a few strips and then using my June Taylor shape cut to cut them into squares I have come out with 14 3 1/2" squares and about 30 2" squares. And I still have about the same amount left to cut after my neck calms down from it (cutting for very long bothers me). So it will take time, but it will add enough to my cut scraps to make it worth it I guess. I appreciate your input very much!

just got out of 'love my stash too much' and I can certainly relate to all who responded then I read this thread!!! I don't know I am most guilty of. I have started to use my stash since I don't want my children to have to be left with all of it to deal with even though my stash is much smaller than some I have seen on the board! And then this thread....and YES I would use that left over fabric in strips with as much width I can get and then use the irregular shapes in a crazy quilt! I too H A T E to waste fabric. In any case, your quilt is very pretty! I like it!!!!
