My big weakness is sewing machines! Aggh, especially the small lightweight travel machines, old, new, mechanical, computerized-love them all, sometimes score a bargain at a garage sale or thrift store. On the positive side I also pass them on when I know there is someone who love & cherish one of them.

I too, collect notions, sewing machines, working and non-working! along with any thing pertaining to sewing. Just glad I'm not alone. Thank you quilting friends. I need to live about a 100 years more to use it. Ha! Ha!

I share some of these obsessions to collect. You know what though, it doesn't help me to read about others who have the same compulsions, habits, obsessions whatever you want to call it. I just want to stop! I even want to stop coming to and enjoying this website. It just sucks my time away. Then I don't have time to finish all the projects I've purchased materials for or have started! So frustrating and shameful. Yes, I do feel ashamed. What is this anyway and how can I rid myself of it?

I do the same afraid the pattern will disappear from my computer. And yes I also have binders thinking I will use it on my next quilt. Not to mention the 12 quilt tops that needs quilting. My rationale: I worked for many years I am now retired and I will do all the things that makes me happy. And nothing wrong with that yet I am sti printing're not alone.
