My Selvedge Quilt Display this weekend
#43
I love seeing every one of your quilts. I am in awe by the way you create such beautiful pieces of art using only selvage edges. Your work is phenomenal. It's too bad you didn't have more space available because each quilt deserves it's own wall so that it can be admired. In the first picture, is that a paper doll quilt? I loved paper dolls as a little girl.
Really really beautiful work.

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments. My obsession with selvedges started about 3 years ago and I now find I am buying selvedges to feed my obsession LOL
I have another 3 quilts in varying degrees of completion, all made with selvedges, both printed and plain.
All the people who looked at the quilts couldn't believe how I had used the selvedges, even some of the quilts are bound in a selvedge. One lady went home and straightaway went through her fabric stash and cut off all the selvedges for me. In return, I am going to her little sewing group after Easter to show them how to 'foundation piece' (oh and she promised scones).
