WOW! That is stunning. I would say that your practice has definitely paid off. Be sure to show us your finished quilt.

Thanks all for the wonderful comments and encouragement. It has certainly been a learning experience ... and boy, if you miss one 1/4 inch seam, you're off to a mess!

For those of you who have asked, yes, I am paper piecing. I got the blocks from craftsy.com There are 26 blocks (lettered A through Z). I only bought a couple of them, some of them were just a TAD too much for me yet)

I have a picture of a pattern from Pinterest ... here's the link for those of you who have accounts! I'm not following it to a T, it's just the idea that I am using. And instead of the french braid, I'm going to do flying geese

I had mentioned earlier this year that my new year's resolution was to quilt smaller but much more challenging quilts ... I do believe I am succeeding!

I will be posting more pics either tonight or tomorrow ... weather dependent (I took today and tomorrow off work to garden ... but it looks like it might rain!! So, when it rains, I quilt!)

Ah yes, my shepherd ... she's a beauty all right!!!! Love her to bits ... she's in the backyard right now making sure no squirrels come to attack the household!

Have a fabulous day everyone.
