Hi Don, I hope you seatbelted those "babies" in. Wish I lived closer so I could see your display in person. I hope to catch a photo in the local newspaper (do they still have newspapers in Iowa)? Haha. Ellen

Congratulations. Your adventures in quilting have been followed by many. Watching your progress through the years has a real pleasure. The difference between the first couple of quilts you showed us, somewhere around 2006, and what you produce today is gratifying. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thanks for all the photos. Can't wait to hear about reactions as your beautiful works are displayed.

Totally awesome, Don! Sure your family is glad your exhibit is in the summer and not Iowa mid-winter since you had to "reclaim" all those lovely quilts you've given them! LOL

My thoughts, exactly, Tartan. Keep those beauties locked up and as hidden as possible.

Don, I wanted to post about meeting you at your quilt guild, but didn't know what to put it under. LOL. It was so much fun to meet you there in Muscatine, and see your lovely quilts. I even got to carry a few for you. Your quilts are beautiful, and the story of how you got started was great. Tell all the members at the guild how much I enjoyed meeting everybody, and how gracious they all were to a visitor. We must keep in touch, and when I get to Muscatine again we need to get together, and I expect to see more of your Beautiful quilts!!!!!
