I got a stunning Amish Basket block from NDQuilts. I'll try to take a picture tonight. LOL...this will make y'all laugh. I was so excited to get the block in the mail I grabbed it from hubby's hands and tried opening the envelope. Couldn't get it and threw it at him to open it...all the while telling him to open it, open it, open it please. My 2 year old was sitting on my back squealing and repeating what I was saying to my hubby. Finally hubby gets the envelope open and I tear open the wrapping and ooohhhh and aaaahhhh over the block, and again the baby is copying me. Hubby looked at it and said...Um....ok, it's a basket. Then 2 year old says ummmm...basket...basket...I was rolling laughing!!! Hubby doesn't understand how amazing the block is in my eyes, but my 2 year old does!!!

I'm 99% sure I've received it. I'll check as soon as I get a chance. DH is off for vacation and we're running around like crazy trying to get some remodeling done.

I believe that I am missing just 2 from tildiemae & MdmSew'New. If this is incorrect please let me know!

I just posted photos of all the blocks I received and mailed to everyone. I have attached the link to my signature line so you may go and look if like. I did make most everyone's the star block because i was working to perfect it and found I truly enjoyed making that block so went with it. Plus, I was able to find colors to match your fabric. That is also why I wanted to keep them because they looked so nice together on my design wall.

I have not heard if you have received your blocks yet.

I have not received three blocks back yet: ms. jacqueline because she just got my f8, mdmsewnsew and not sure of the third. I have enough fabric to make one block from me for Shekenah's quilt. And yes, it will be the shining star block also.
Thank you ladies for the wonerful blocks again. Now to go shopping for some sashing and setting blocks. to make the quilt pop even more. She is going to love this surprise in her Christmas presents this year or if I am lucky enough to get done in November will be her birthday present. In case you did not know which child this is, she is my avatar right now.
