    Janet, I do both and I understand what you mean. My embroidery is more beautiful than my pieceing, ut I keep on going. One trick I found was to cut my block to 13 or 13 1/2 inces and then embroider and then cut to size. It has worked really niced. Keep going with the pieceing. Don't give up, Please, Quilters need you.

    here is a picture of the disappearing nine patch quilt I just made in less than three days. Did the top in 8 hours on Sunday and finshed the rest. A wedding quilt I volunteered to make. Thank you for the suggestion of fast pattern and the tute link. Was perfect.
