If we didn't live on a rented farm, I'd do 'Moon Over The Mountain'! Love that block!

I think I'm going to do a Sunbonnet Sue. My husband built a shed in the back yard and has been after me to paint it. I'm going to put SS on the side. It might just give him a lesson on the perils of nagging

Oh my. 'Barn Quilt' has a whole different meaning when you're spending nights out in a stall waiting for a foal to be born.

I think the barn would fall over from old age before I was able to make up my mind which block was my favorite : )

I think it would be the log cabin because of what it represents; a safe haven.

It's a fun project. I just finished ours last week. If I knew how to post a picture here, I would show you. I chose the Carpenter's Square. We don't have a "big" barn, just a shed shaped like a barn. My husband does a lot of carpentry work and I like the design of the block. Yes, it really is easier and much quicker than sewing and quilting the block!

I don't have a barn, but we painted a panel and hung it on the side of the ranch style house we live in....it is (I think) call Dutchman's puzzle....it is flying geese going around a friendship star...we have lots of Canadian geese in our neck of the woods!!!!!
