What are you doing this morning???

I am being taken on a fabric shopping spree and then onto lunch by my daughter-in-law as a belated birthday gift.
Looking forward to it very much. I have an idea for my next quilt and I have a "few gaps" in colour in the fabrics that I intend using so I hope to remedy that today.

I will be finishing 2 round, fall table toppers and a matching wall hanging. Just need to cut and sew the bias binding for them all. Then I need to figure out how in the world to hang the wall haning. It is a large 1/2 circle, or arced cut, and I am going to hang it over our fireplace insert, on brick. If anyone has any good ideas on how to do that, I'd sure appreciate the input. Otherwise, have a great Saturday y'all.

This morning had nothing at all to do with my sewing room or quilting. I spent the morning making choc covered bacon. Had a friend that wanted to buy some from me. I Quoted him a price of $30/lb (bacon n chocolate is expensive you know, plus my time) and he quickly agreed to it!

DD and I went to a quilt show this am. They had a resale shop & she got 4 or 5 good sized batting pieces. She paid $2. for all of them. We came back here & she straightened out some problems with my computer & looked at all 284 pictures I took on my recent trip to CA.
Have to go to grocery store; think I'll get something to put in crock pot for dinner after work tomorrow.
Whoever posted about the crock pot, thanks for the idea.
THEN I'll be able to work on my brother's National Park quilt for a Christmas gift.

Love your bear!!
This is the only one I can show you right now. I made it about 5 years ago and it still washes up just fine. It is at the back door so it gets lots of use. The other one I made is at my son's house, down state. And, I really want to make one with a fish to bring up to the cabin next spring.
