    that is beautiful.. something I will never too to tedious..lol..l but you did a wonderful job.. I would have pulled my hair out with all those little pieces...

    Love your quilt, especially the border, how will you bind it? Will you bind around the hexes or cut them off to make them straight? I love making the hexes and have started a new quilt with hexes.

    Thanks for all the kudo's! The scrappy hexies on the outside is the final edge. I'm just going to turn the backing under & stitch it down so as to have that edge as the binding. I've already folded over the uneven ones on the two ends to make them be straight across. I'm going to leave the sides "as is". Going to take awhile to finish that edge all the way around! The quilt measures 86"X112". I'm going to quilt it on my longarm & I think I'm going to do feathers on it. Should be interesting, to say the least!
