    I love Elle's center, it's so gorgeous.

What I've done previously in EQ Pam is take a photo of the block/center/whatever and import it in as a picture. The just place it in the center of a layout. That way you have the colours and shades perfect if you want to audition borders. :-)

Well now, I didn't think of that!! I'll remember that next time and not have to spend so much time creating the block!

Thank you. I shouldn't let myself stay away. Now that I am reading the posts more often and looking at the pictures, I find that I have more enthusiasm for working on projects. I get inspired by all the beautiful work.

Here is my center! Sorry for the bad photo- my digital photo went kaputz, and I only have my cell phone camera handy. I'll try to get a better one, soon!

I have lots of left over fabric! Would you like me to send it along? It is all blue/natural colored batiks.

But DO NOT feel obligated to use it!! :) It'll be fun seeing what everyone comes up with.

I embroidered a sea horse on the center.

I am tempted, but I think that I will try and see if I can find something, that will give it something that you wouldn't do to it. I will wait until it gets here and take it with me, I am sure that something will jump off the shelves at at least one of the lqs.
