I am so glad you like it. I have been totally nervous about it. 6" is a really wide band of fabric to get straight and square. It really isn't totally finished and I really need to finish up and send it on, but I'm glad I decided to try something different.

I crocheted the snowflakes. I know it doesn't look like it, but it was one of the things I did sitting in the hospital or at home when I couldn't do anything else. Thought they would look nice on the Christmas tree, but they look really cute on this quilt, I think.

I'm doing better. Today I actually made coffee and spent most of the day sewing. The TV helped fill in the silence. I'll be working on it again tomorrow.

Gwyn I think you did a great job on the snowflakes! I have always wanted to learn how to crochet but have not yet tried! I think they make a beautiful addition to the quilt!

This weekend I am going to pull out the big guns and go to the BIG fabric store and see what I come up with... as usual, Im running behind... but I am determined to get this right!
