A few things that make me happy:
    Folgers Decaffeinated Singles
When my girl cat sits on my lap and "talks" to me
When I'm able to perform an act of kindness for a stranger when I'm out and about

I have no kids....sooo......just a few things that make me happy...

    My husbands devotion.
When my Purple Martin colony returns each spring.
The unconditional love my poodle shows me each day.
My 3 parrots talking singing & screaming hello to the day.
Getting the result from a cancer test showing no return.
    My roses & hibiscus blooming.

When I open the front door after a fresh snowfall and see a little line of bird footprints leading up to it. Time to fill the feeder again!!

If I can wake up in the morning and feel good, the rest takes care of itself.

snowfall. actually doing something here today , teeny tiny frozen drops of rain making noise but so difficult to see them. my son went out and stood there with them bouncing off the back of his neck. i could see them but he didn't. anyway, lovely to watch. I love Nature. when it's good to us!

Seeing my kids and grandkids, playing with my kitties, sitting outside in the fresh air, sitting in my swing listening to the birds sing, sitting by the ocean..all of these make me very happy

Hugs from my grown children -- they still give such good ones I tear up.
    Hugs from the grandsons.
Being with my DH - my love of 51 years.
    Clean sheets on the bed.
A visit from my cleaning lady (she is also a wonderful friend)
Looking out at a fresh snowfall with the sun shining on it.
    Visiting a fabric shop
Visiting with our neighbors dogs (DH is too unsteady to have one around)

When I text my friends to see if anyone is available for a cocktail and getting

"Sorry, I'm already in my jammies"
"Sorry, I had my eyes dilated and can't drive"
    "Sorry, I'm still at work"

So I say, "Ok, thanks anyway, had a bad day today but I'll be ok"

That is the best feeling in the world. <3

That, plus "just because" hugs from my now-grown sons.
