When my sister comes to visit, and it feels like we were never apart, even though we live 3000 miles (or so) from each other.

A bouquet of tulips in January! Snow, ice and cold winds all around me,but when I look at that bouquet my heart is warmed.

I forgot to add what makes me happiest- Being able to share the wealth. It drives my DH crazy, but if I am done owning something, I want to find someone who needs or wants it, and give it to them. I only donate to our local humane society resale shop (only things that will sell of course, no trash) since I can’t afford to donate money or adopt all the homeless critters. DH always wants me to have a garage sale......nope, I already paid for my items, so I feel strange asking for money for them. Better to help critters, and it is way less work. Lol.

I can also add to my list of loves, fluffy flannel sheets on my bed, and crawling in fresh from the shower, waking up on a day that I do not have to leave the house, knowing that directly because of me, 8 dogs and 15 cats have never had to be in a shelter.
Also seeing the first snow of the year, walking in the absolute quiet of the snow, and watching kids enjoy playing in the snow, even in my yard (I never like the old lady I lived next as a kid, that always screamed at kids for coming near her nice smooth snow).
