you can touch a iron really light to the binding to so it stays back...I use w/n so the batting can be iron...But if using poly, just give the binding a light touch or shot of steam, this way I don't need to fuss with pins, etc.

Thanks for these instructions. I tried this stitch and I really like it! My bindings never look very good. The ladder stitch gave me the best results I've had yet.
