    Very interesting. I keep a quilting journal of what I do but not the time or costs. Would I really want to know? I just love quilting and only do it for my own pleasure and family.

    Thanks for sharing your "lessons learned." I have very carefully recorded and photographed every quilt I've ever made and put them in a scrapbook. However, I never tried to keep track of the hours and the dollars spent on a quilt. I guess I know that quilting is not a cheap art form, but do I really want to know what each one costs. I may keep track of my next one and put the information in my scrapbook ... but not track every quilt.

    I loved this idea! Of course, it's taken me a week to find a clock that is both analog (has hands) and electric (has a plug). Fortunately, I do just one project at a time, so I won't have to keep track of elapsed time for different quilts.
