I looked at fabric at our local Wal Mart here in Idaho a week or so ago....like yours Jacquie the quality was horrible, on average so many were so thin you could read a newspaper through it. I also noticed that many of the bolts were the same designs that they've carried for years it seems. JMHO

Barefoot~what pretty shades of oranges you recieved! Very nice.
We have three Walmarts within ten minutes of us...two of the have precuts and bolts and one just has the precuts. It's kind of hit or miss with what you can get there. Last week they had a cute pattern and decent quality charm pack *but* it was almost $12.00....the LQS doesn't charge that for Moda, etc....I usually find something at JoAnn but was there on Monday and the Valentine, St.Patty's and Easter fabrics all looked blah...did get some fleece to make one of those "no sew" blankets that you tie.

I just came from all three of my Family dollar stores and they don't have them!!!!!! So disappointed you sent me a few in my Rak package there great but now I need to find some!!!!

barefoot quilter those are some nice orange fabrics. i had a few oranges but could not find them when i was looking for them. i know i bought them i just dont know what i did with them. i know they are here somewhere.
i need more space to spread out that's what it is. then i could find some things.

I wanted tothank Sandi beck aka (starofmoondancer) for the wonderful package I received yesterday,the package contained 12 fat quarters, 120 inch tape measure, a cleaning kit,flower pins, a needle threader, ¼ inch seam guide and a thread holder and I wonderfulcard … love it all thank you Sandi…
