    I make everything pretty much. As I like a variety of fabrics, if I see a pattern for a quilt and it has red blocks from one fabric I simply use a variety of red fatquarters to achieve a similar but more varied look.

    Can you please tell me what a dissappearing 9 patch is.

    I guess I'v never seen one and I can't imagine what it is.

    Twilight,
    Basically you make a nine patch block and cut it in the middle right across horizontally(through your second row of squares) and then, don't move anything yet, cut it through the middle vertically. Then you can switch the pieces around to get some interesting patterns. If you put disappearing 9 patch into the search function on the top of your board screen, you'll be able to find many different examples. Some people find them very addicting to make and they can be very attractive and/or fun.
