It's not something that comes easily for me and thinking about just grabbing a crumb and sewing randomly together is almost causing heart palpitations LOL! It's not that I am so uptight about matchy matchy, but I don't want to get done and think...that looks like something the dog threw up...if you know what I mean.

Sorry I should have said Bottled Rainbows. This is a fun quilt I have started and it does take those little little pieces. Here is the website: http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...ape-quilt.html
That sounds interesting too, but when I googled "rainbows in a bottle" I came up with science experiments etc., could you elaborate a little more?

It is like working on a mosaic or puzzle. Lots of fun. I also used my scraps for a spider quilt with the scraps being the background for the webs. That is fun too. I love scappys, you never know what the end result will be.

I also just love crumb blocks (was originally taught this technique but it was called mile-a-minute blocks at the time). I have bunches and bunches of blocks in a variety of sizes just waiting to be put into quilts .. OR used for a swap.
Depending on the size and the 'rules' of a crumb swap, I might interested in participating.
