Lots of cute blocks shown - I started some in flanel a while back after making some baby projects - haven't gone any further yet...

Crumb quilts are a relax and have fun type of quilt. It doesn't have to all match or be the same color family. Take a look at my crumb quilt and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    WOW - What gorgeous blocks!!!!

Sorry I should have said Bottled Rainbows. This is a fun quilt I have started and it does take those little little pieces. Here is the website: http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...ape-quilt.html

I love scappys, you never know what the end result will be.
That sounds interesting too, but when I googled "rainbows in a bottle" I came up with science experiments etc., could you elaborate a little more?

I would LOVE to have a crumb block swap -- good way to incorporate different scraps into what I've got.

I also just love crumb blocks (was originally taught this technique but it was called mile-a-minute blocks at the time). I have bunches and bunches of blocks in a variety of sizes just waiting to be put into quilts .. OR used for a swap.

Depending on the size and the 'rules' of a crumb swap, I might interested in participating.

I've seen the Rainbows in a bottle b4 and love it but personally do consider those to be a true 'crumb blocks' ... the sizes are not random or small enough. Not that all crumbs have to be small.
