[QUOTE=jaciqltznok;4853126]I drove up to Anthony, KS today for quilt guild...(does anyone else drive an hour into the wilderness for a guild meeting?)

Yes, Jacquie, I also drive an hour + to one guild, and 40 min. to the other. "You wanna go where everyone knows your name".... to quote a song. I found my home guilds away from home.
Isn't it just awe inspiring to see what some ladies can do in 3 weeks. We have one at the guild who almost every month has a queen or bigger bed sized quilt, totally finished. and she'll say that she started after the workshop 2 months ago when she wanted to practice the new technique. Or say just wanted to see if this could be done, and then say don't try this it isn't worth the headache! she is amazing.
Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! Enjoy!!
